There are also parallels with the plot of the novel Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card of a game actually controlling real events.

Does anyone else find it a bit sad that while so many topics on Wikipedia are still stubs, each South Park episode gets its own detailed article?

There are major works of classical music, like I think most of Mozart's string quartets, that are all stubs... I see it, and it ALMOST makes me want to participate in wikipedia. Almost.

It's hardly the only thing. *shrug* People write articles about what they care about, and SP has a huge fanbase.

Yeah, there are detailed articles for every buffyverse episode as well.

*shrug* I don't mind. I kinda like having a handy spoiler source sometimes.

Yah, and plus, the capacity of wikipedia is infinite- I just think Euripides was commenting on priority in terms of what people are interested in. If more people were interested and willing to work in the wikipedia genre, then we would have more important topics with decent articles. Thing is, a lot of the people with time enough to wage wiki-wars and write articles are the same people watching South Park, so it's a demographic issue. I can guarantee there are more important topics, that matter to more people, that are still stubs because the people who care about them don't write on wikis.
