The only King tv movie I have really enjoyed so far was The Stand. Unlike many though, I have enjoyed Spielberg's work. I enjoyed the book enough that I will give it a try.
The fact that it is a mini series should help a bit. They will not have to cut out a lot, and rush through it.

That was a really good book. I worry about them pulling off some of the imagery, as TV movies don't generally do a good job with that compared to the Box Office productions. However, the story is great, and Dreamworks is pretty good at what they do.
I can't wait to see what they do with this.

I think it really needs to be a maxiseries to pull it off, but as Stephan said, The Stand came out well, so this might as well. I wonder who they're going to cast for Travelin' Jack.
