I bet you drive that car I saw at work the other day.

It was a Lexus SUV.

The vanity plate was "IPWNYOU".

I thought I was going to throw up laughing.

On topic, I've got my guard up on ST RTS games after the bomb that was Armada II. Looks cool though.

armada 2 imho is pretty good still had the little problem with space/sea vessel games where there's no real strategy to naval engagements, just technology, luck, firepower, doctrine, moral, and the theotetically crossing the T,

Spce games have the harder+ additional difficulty in programming in the astrophysics, newtonian physics, and 3 dimensional plane involved in a space sim.

The game plays more on a corss of Bridge Commander and Star Trek: Starfleet Command III

The first Armada did have some strategy elements, but the fact that you could capture construction ships kinda blew it.

Armada was good, and II had some improvements that I felt made it better, but as it didn't really feel like a whole new game, and rather a really expensive expansion pack, I wasn't really happy with it.

Battle For Middle Earth II and Star Wars: Empire at War are the last two RTS games I bought. BFME was awesome, EAW was ridiculous, and I stopped playing it after a week. The graphics ruled, the battles were fun as all heck to play, but the map where you made your strategic moves was RIDICULOUS. I was under the impression it was going to be a revamped, totally hyped up version of Star Wars: Rebellion, which is stilly in my top three of all time favorite computer games (With Star Trek: Birth of the Federation). But it was horrible.

Armada is fun to play, like a Starcraft or what not only in the Star Trek universe. This game looks interesting, and though Medieval II Total War is next on my "to buy" list for computer games, I might give this a once over.

I wish they could make old school games like Rebellion and BOTF into something modern, keeping what made them great, and updating the graphics, units, and characters. Most of the attempts of the last few years have been greatly disappointing, and I'm sick of having to wait for an expansion pack to make up for what they should've gotten right the first time around.

What does the "z" mean in "zomg?" I mean, I guess the "omg" is still "oh my god/gosh," but what does the "z" mean?

I just can't figure it out. All I can think of is that it may be a common typo that just got popular (like "pwn"), but that doesn't really make sense since "z" isn't near any of the other letters on the keyboard...

Z is by left shift, which could cause the confusion, and the letter Z is a Pure Power letter, making zomg way more awesome than plain omg.

try saying it out loud, then you'll understand.

Only when I'm alone. In the dark. Underwater.

And it's available on Direct2Drive, for those of you too lazy to... you know... move.
