Since I'm sure everyone's curiousity is as piqued as mine and, to the best of my knowledge, there is no longer a centralized jatraquero picture thing, post links to pictures of yourself here.

Rules:

Ready? Go!

Edit: I forgot I have one on myspace. I'm trying as hard as possible to be sexy for you.

I'll be indexing these in this first post. (as long as I remember to, at least. Bwahar.) If you want yours removed, just let me know.

Mine is unfiltered (I'm the closest thing we have to a network admin), and I'm just getting 404 errors.

Try these...

(First one is the one that's blocked by most filters)

EDIT:
And they probably care more about E3 or "booth babes" than they do me.

And, when you go through that site, please remember two things:
1) It has gone pretty much untouched and unedited for six years. I have lost 40+ pounds, gotten married and had a son since then. How times change...

2) I'm a programmer, not a designer. Site's not "pretty" or "artsy".

Ok, it occurs to me that I should have brought this up when Foobonic was on it's death bed -- but if I recall correctly I was dying under the pressure of final projects just then, and not paying attention to Hatrack.

I have a web server with about 65Gbs of free space on it right now. I've found an open source photo gallery that I could install on it, that allows people to create their own accounts and upload their own content. I'd be happy to host a new Hatrack photo album if people would use it, and this time people could create their own accounts and upload their own material rather than by email. I don't have time to get it set up just now, but I will in about a week. What do people think, would it be used?

I am firmly in the beard camp. Facial hair on a guy = UNSTOPPABLE HOTNESS. Especially when paired with glasses. Every few days my husband will shave off his goatee (he's Italian, and thus it grows quite crazily so it must be tamed at least once a week). I always get very sad on shaving days.

Gents with facial hair, keep up the good work. Libbie approves. (For whatever that's worth. Also, apparently rivka does, too.)

Posted by Evie3217 (Member # 5426) on :

Hmm....Libbie I would have to disagree with you. I love the glasses. Glasses are always hot. But facial hair? I can usually do without it. It's not horrible, but I like a clean-shaven man

You should post it for all your adoring fans on Hatrack. Or send it to Tiger Beat, take your pick.

Wow! A lot of you guys are very good looking! Too bad I'm not twenty years younger! (oh wait-- I DO have a daughter that might be interested in these pics) [Wink]

Dr. Strangelove - your eyes are gorgeous. And vonk is very hot too! I had no idea.

Most of you (the ones I haven't already met in person) look pretty much like I imagined you would, except nighthawk. He looks nothing like I had him pictured, for some reason.

Is Artemisia Tridentata the only one in my age range who has posted pics here? rivka - did you post?

edit: oh, and Marlozhan - are you LDS? You look an awful lot like another friend of mine (who is LDS) and I wonder if you're related.

You can click throught the four pictures on the left.

One is of me at the 255' level of one of the Space Shuttle Launch Towers (I don't remember if it was 39A or 39B)

One is me with my youngest girl (Josie) at a 3D movie

One is me with all four of my girls (Left to Right: Michaela, Candace, Josie, Mariah)

One is me with my wife Cindy

Don't bother reading my blog, there is only one entry. It sounded like a good idea, but I thought it was silly to write something that no one would read.

Actually, I heard it was one from Costco! I hike with a 5'8" cottenwood staff. It comes from Mt. Grant and reminds me of home where ever I wander.

Well, if you posted to let us know about it, we might read it! I think there's a "who has a blog" thread somewhere around here; you can also link to your blog in your profile.

I treat mine like a journal-- and am better about keeping it because of the public commitment of having friends who read it.

Yes, I am LDS, though I'm not sure who you might be thinking of. I have few relatives that look like me, even my siblings, since they are all half-siblings. I look most like my twin uncles, one who lives in Virginia and the other in Spokane, WA.

But I have been told on many occasions that I remind people of somebody else. Must have one of those faces...

I'm torn. My sister straightened some of my hair and evidently I bear an uncanny resemblance to Peter Petrelli (from Heroes), except I have facial hair. I'm kind of in the mood to shave it, just because I haven't in a while. But my little sisters adore my "wombat". One threatened to not speak to me on Christmas if I shaved. So I'm stuck. I suppose it'll be a split second type decision.

EDIT: Let me clarify on my above statement. What I really wanted to point out is that most men feel like I've attacked their sexuality every time I even *hint* that they should shave those other areas, mostly their chest, legs and arm pits. Coarse hair is disgusting to me.

Really? I used to mind it, but I don't at all anymore. I feel the same way about facial hair. If I wanted only smooth-faced, smooth-chested guys, I'd go back to high school.

(I don't actually have a strong preference either way; I just meant to say that I don't have a powerful aversion to hair.)

I like a little hairiness in a man. Back hair would gross me out, though. Or Robin Williams level hairiness. But normal hairiness is nice to cuddle up to (except for face scruff. Either shave it off, or grow it out, don't stay halfway in between.)
