The only real problem I had with them were that they were hot. If they had been cold, like cheesecake is supposed to be, they would have been alright. Not spectacular, probably wouldn't have gotten 'em again, but alright.

How do you even make Cheesecake balls?
Make cheesecake then cut it up or roll it or something? I can't imagine they have like spherical molds for the batter to go in.
I made pumpkin cheesecake last month, but there was way, WAY more batter than I expected, so I ended up making a regular one, and then filling a lasagna pan with the leftover batter.
My brother ate the whole thing in less than a week.

I have never had good luck with Sonic's desserts and shakes. Their cherry limeade is, of course, good, and their tater tots are heavenly, and their burgers and sandwiches are decent (I like the wraps.) But I learned early on to stay AWAY from the dessert and shake menu.
If you want a good dessert at a fast-food joint, go to Steak n Shake. Their food was the closest I could get to In 'N' Out while in TX.

I didn't think they were so bad. I probably won't order them again, however -- not worth the price. Nothing beats Sonic's Mozzarella Sticks though. That's my fav.

We just got some Sonic Onion Rings the other night 'cause Sonic is extremely close to our house and I was craving Onion Rings. I'd never had them there before and was considerably disappointed. It was like they'd been stored near or cooked with something with cinnamon in it and some other weird flavor I couldn't name that should have no place in an Onion Ring. I was hoping it was some sort of flavor absortion and not part of the actual Onion Ring batter recipe. Plus everything is overpriced. Not a fan.

Yeah, their onion rings aren't the best, but they're no worse than, say, BK.

Oh I love Sonic! We finally got one within 25 miles and we are so thrilled! I adore the Blue Coconut Cream Slush! But as KQ pointed out it doesn't touch a Steak'n'Shake. I had that when I visited my dad in Indiana and we hit every one we could we find on the way back because we knew there weren't any anywhere near us. They are awesome! If you ever have the means, I highly recommend it!

I love Sonic. I tried their Cheesecake bites and liked them. I was suprised that they were not served cold, but once I got over that I liked them.
I have a greal love/hate relationship with their ad agency to the extent that whenever one of their commericals comes on, I inevitably windup craving Sonic and have to go get some. I just don't understand why they are darn so effective.

Is it in Texas? I remember having something while I was in Dallas that I'd never had before. It wasn't Whataburger, I don't think.
Either way, nothing can compare to Steak'n'Shake. Turkey melts with honey mustard on the side and a chocolate milkshake...so good.
They don't have Steak'n'Shake here.

No, In 'N' Out started in CA. It's now a little bit in AZ and there are a few in NV, there may be a few elsewhere, but it's still mostly a CA institution.
And they have the BEST fast-food hamburgers ANYWHERE. Their menu isn't as extensive, but their burgers are better than Steak n Shake. Now, I'll agree that Steak n Shake is superior to other fast-food places with a larger menu, but when it comes to hamburgers a good ol' Double-Double still wins every time.

(Actually, when I was there last I hadn't eaten all day and got a 3X3. Ems always gets a grilled cheese. I love the "other menu" items; it's so funny to take someone who isn't from CA for the first time, and order something that's "not on the menu." )
