So far though, it's been a lot like 2006.

Happy New Year!

You know how fireworks are readily available here and anyone can - and does - set them off anytime?

Well, last night, as the clock rolled past midnight, the fireworks woke me up. Not because they were especially close, although that was true also, but because there were so many of them going off at the same time. Hundreds, simultaneously, and continuously, like boiling water that's still on the fire, if that imagery works for you.

Gaaaah! I'm tired!

Well, we've still got more than four hours til midnight here in Nebraska, but we're already breakin' out the rice crispy treats and sparkling cider.

That's right, when we party, we do it right.

We're rated G at our house.

Happy New Years!

I did New Years in Seoul, Korea this year. It was amazing. I was walking along the street with my family and there was about a million people all setting off roman candles constantly from about 10pm on. At midnight people went even crazier. People kept coming up to us and wanting to have their pictures taken with us. It was funny.

Are you some sort of celebrity, Allegra [Razz] ? Or does everyone get a picture with random people in Seoul? ^.^

Slept through it. [Sleep] I see it still happened whether I was there or not. [Cry] [Big Grin] Woot. Happy New Year to all you fine folks!

[Party]

May the year be filled with peace, hope, joy, and enough food, water, air, and space for all creation to meet their basic needs.

Whee, the night of drunken dancing with the assorted freaks & geeks I call my friends was so worth the hangover I have now. Happy New Year, everyone!

Happy New Year!

So far this year has been suspiciously like 2001. but that could be because I'm using an old calendar. [Smile]

Have a good one!
