I'm betting this is the "Avatar" you thought I was talking about in the other thread.

While I do love Nick's Avatar series, I don't really see it as an M. Night project. [Dont Know]

That's a joke, right?!

Though it could be kind of cool. My boyfriend loves martial arts movies and I'm sure he'd love Avatar if he would give a "lowly cartoon" a chance.

The kids they'd hire would have to have some serious skill.

But let's keep M. Night away from everything I love. First he starts eyeing Harry Potter and now this. Bad man!

Yes, that was indeed the mistake I made when I stumbled upon the other thread.

If this movie gets made it's probably going to be a whole lot better than Cameron's Avatar. But this is coming from a fan of the cartoon, so it's safe to say I'm biased.
Whether it is feasible to make a live action movie out of this cartoon, I don't know. It seems like stretch to me, but it's not impossible. I do hope that it turns out better than the Neverending Story (which also had a huge flying furry thing, among other similarities).

The cartoon always seemed pretty cool, although I never watched an entire episode.

I can't stand M. Night any more. He did well with Sixth Sense, and since then has sucked it up. After watching The Village, I wanted to punch myself in the face.

"That just messes it up."

Cayla's reaction to learning of the Avatar movies being live-action.

I really enjoy the television series, and I have nothing against M. Night (besides the god-awful Lady In the Water). But, why on earth would they make it a movie? It's perfectly fine the way it is.

Is Peter Jackson directing this one, too?

It's a good show, but why do this?

Was Lady in the Water that awful? I grabbed it off the shelf at the video store the other day but it's been sitting on my desk. Debating on if I want to subject myself to it...

What a fun series. =)

M. Night hasn't made anything good besides I See Dead People and I'm a Comic Book Hero.

I find this cartoon entertaining and well-drawn. I hope he doesn't ruin it.

Anyone know when the next season starts?

Don't know when the new season starts, but last season started around mid-March, and I'd expect something similar for season 3.

There's a queer as folk jewewry collection ad at the bottom of this page, and for the life of me I don't get why. Is it just me or are these ads getting more and more random?
