Reminds me slightly of the "Sega Swirl" game that came with "House of the Dead 2" (though that was more of a well-elimination sort of thing.)

I got 22 once and 23 several times.

What heuristic do people use in making their decisions, out of curiosity? I generally try to bifurcate the space, sending out tendrils along diagonals from the core.

I'm finding the most useful trick is identifying long tendrils in the middle and working my way toward incorporating them early.

27 was my best, but I managed to make it all blue at the end. (my favorite color.) So I gave myself a 5 point bonus and arbitrarily declared my score a 22. [Big Grin]
