Neat. I have a friend who is also a film student, and love to hear about his course.
I review movies for fun too, so I'd be happy to provide a critique if I have something substantive to say, and you don't mind that it comes from a less than qualified film critic.
There's no reason to minimise your post count at Hatrack though.

Yeah... There are other hatrackers with blogs, also, that I'd be (was that "also" redundant?) interested to read but I don't because they're not on hatrack, and I won't remember to go to all those blogs.... I can barely remember to come to hatrack. (Okay, that's a lie, I come to hatrack every day.)
But the point is: How come hatrackers with blogs don't post a "Earendil18's Blog" thread -- and then every time you update your blog -- bingo. You just paste the new entry onto the end of your blog thread here at hatrack, and bingo. Those of us who might want to read them can do so.
Bingo.

That's an interesting well-intentioned suggestion, but I'd rather use a(n?) RSS reader than have people syndicate their blogs on Hatrack. If everyone adopted that practice, half the front page could be swamped by blog post threads; not really what Hatrack is for, I think you'll agree.

I don't agree. What is hatrack for? I can't imagine why whatever it's for would specifically exclude a few people from posting blog threads. And I don't think that half the front page would be swamped by these threads. Not even close, in fact.
But I'll admit that if I did think it was a realistic possibility, I'd drop the suggestion. I don't really want to see that happen either.
(It wouldn't happen, though.)

Um, we were supposed to keep our number of posts down in Hatrack?
Oops.

Well, that was perhaps hyperbole, but I think that a blog syndication tradition sets a precedent with potentially unhealthy consequences for the board.

Pfft. What is the size of the universe? When did time begin?

Bingo!
Maybe I could...well actually I think I can put an RSS feed for people's convenience. Would that solve this cosmological problem?
EDIT: Actually, at the bottom of the page you can subscribe to the posts via Atom. Although they offer RSS as well.
