Just as a thought,

Who do you think

is the greatest Sith out there?

and

Who is the closest match they have?

Posted by Feer (Member # 9846) on :

Well my choice,
Darth Maul.

Darth Plagueis, hands down (if what was said by palpatine was true).

Otherwise Vadar.

Lucas.

Revan. Now I havent completed Kotor2 or played Kotor1 so I am not entirely sure what theyre greatest match is, but lets say for the sake of arguement my main character Akira Toyo.

No kidding. I mean, he was killed by a padawan, he couldn't be all THAT good, could he?

He killed a jedi Master right before getting divided, after taking on both a master and a very experienced padawan, who was well ready to be a master anyway. He just got to cocky and let Obi kill him.

Wasn't there a Darth Muave? I pick him.

Jar Jar.

...Well, at least he was evil enough to have been a Sith.

Was Jar Jar really smart enough to be evil? Horrific and terrifying, yes, but evil?

My vote goes to Vader. I mean, he had the voice and the suit, and he could choke people just by looking at them! He had the whole package!

The Sith are all overwhelmingly lame. The entire concept behind the order is just agonizingly putrid.

Darth Barkus

Seriously, I'd say Vader.

But Exar Kun I think gives him a serious run for his money, and even Kun's apprentice, Ulic Qel-Droma, who like Vader went dark and came back to the light. The two of them have two of the cooler lightsaders out there too.

'splain.

I like Vader before he fell in a volcano. When he was pretty to look at. Pretty and morally questionable, just the way I likes 'em.

Would've said Vader, before we found out what a whiny little baby he was before he got James Earl Jonesed.

No, these days, it's all about Revan. Dude scared the frickin' Mandalorians.

Kyp Durron.

Granted, he was only Sith for like five minutes, but still. The guy blew up stars!

The Sith aren't a workable order. A philosophy based on personal strength is workable, but that's not what they are; they're eeeevil. I'm hoping those new SWU books will put a better spin on that, but it doesn't look like this'll be the case; if anything, we're getting more of the "Dark Side = Always Bad" approach.

Thus far from what I've read, the stuff with Lumiya and Jacen Solo is exploring aspects of Sith teachings that we've never seen before. Apparently they aren't inherently evil, at least that is what Jacen believes at the moment.

But I have a feeling that won't last for long.

He was never really a Sith at all, he was just being manipulated by one.

And Vader is sooooo not the greatest Sith. He was never truly committed to the Dark Side, hence his redemption. I'd say that Palpatine was the best. He managed to conquer the galaxy and come within an inch of ending the entire Jedi Order through pure deceit, deception, and manipulation. Not to mention that he was powerful and skilled enough to go toe-to-toe with Yoda, and if you count the EU (which I assume we are) he even found his own way to transcend death. His only mistake was not realizing that Vader would take exception to him torturing his son to death right in front of him...

Chad Vader. Enough said.
