So, a contract worker is barricaded into a building in Johnson Space Center in Houston.

Not sure of the details, but here's a fun fact for you: the gunman works for Jacobs Engineering Group in Houston.

I work for Jacobs Engineering Group, in New Orleans. I imagine I'll hear some serious gossip come Monday.

A local news station is reporting that the gunman (William Phillips) and one of the two hostages are dead.

This is another sad day for NASA. I only knew two guys in building 44 and I have not heard from them. Of course, they were not on e-mail today.
