having received second place for Special Series for a series on the history of The Messenger, the paper I work for. I get a certificate, and the co-worker who attended the Iowa Press Women's banquet will bring the judges' notes so I can see what went well and what didn't. [Blushing]

That is fabulous!! Did you get to go to an awards banquet and all?

I used to be a member of the Kansas Press Women, so I'm familiar with the kind of competition you were in, and it is great that you did so well in Iowa.

Personally, I would love to read the series.....
