The VP of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America called writers who posted material for free on the internet "pixel-stained technopeasant wretches."

In response, several authors have posted free material to the internet for consumption by the masses.

SFFWA has been criticized by many new writers for failing (ironically) to keep up with the changing times. (I'm not among those critics-- SFFWA is a far off dream at this point in my career) The veep's exit is apparently a symptom of that dissatisfaction.

Wait, so does that mean we're evil to continuing the 2350 campaign, Scott?

I'm evil anyway. I was evil before 2350 even started.
