I was thinking that PBEM games might be a good way for my brothers and I to keep in touch with each other.
I know that there is an an Axis & Allies PBEM clone called tripleA, which looks like a good candidate.
Does anybody know of any other good PBEM games for me to try out with my brothers?

Just out of curiosity what does PBEM stand for, I've never heard the abbreviation before.

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri has a play-by-e-mail mode.

Play-By-EMail.
Hmm... I don't think I'm up to buying five copies of a commercial game, so I think it needs to be a free game.
Although a PBEM civilization clone could be a lot of fun, if anybody knows of such a thing.

Actually, I spelled out the abbreviation on purpose, since you'd asked.

There use to be a free PBEM Axis and Allies game for the Pacific theater. IT was a blast with a great mapping utility. Unfortunately it is down.

Well thank you then.

There are several good PBEM Diplomacy clients out there, though it might be tough to track down 7 dedicated players unless you have six brothers, of course.
