I was greatly looking forward to this show, and unfortunately I am caught up in the Heroes finale and in NBA playoff fever and missed the first episode as well as the box office episode last night.

Did anybody get a chance to catch it? Is it worth my time? I like the premise alot, I was hoping the execution lived up to its potential.

I watched it. I think it was worth the time. The first episode was kind of jumbled, but that was because there were fifty people who were to pitch a film. That was pared to about twenty or so. There aren't any actual films yet. There should be by next week.

I was cringing the entire time they were pitching their films. It was awful..

Elmer, me too. Well, some of them were good.

It's harder than you think to "tell" a story, and I think some people shot themselves in the foot by trying to be overly 'creative'.

I enjoyed it, though not quite as much as I'd been hoping to. I found myself playing along, trying to come up with plausible story lines. I thought a few of mine were decent, which makes me wonder how, with hours to plan and presumably some experience with this sort of thing, most shown were just plain terrible.

I enjoyed one contestant's pitch, but then I had the thought "Wow, that sounds like a movie I'd like to see if I didn't already know the ending."
