Look at the Starcraft II page for the Protoss Phoenix. Scrolling down, you should see two distinct pictures, one of Warp Rays vs. Phoenixes, the other of Mutalisks vs. Phoenixes.

Pop open the second picture. What's wrong with this picture? Anyone see it?

The supply limit is 163. 163 is prime. 163 cannot be attained by any configuration of even numbers. It is impossible to reach this supply limit in the original Starcraft with the Protoss; perhaps the supply system has been changed.

Perhaps Phase Prisms, when deployed, grant an extra unit of supply. Perhaps they've changed the Nexus supply from 10 to 1. Something has been tweaked.

Other screenshots reveal equally ambiguous numbers: 177 and 153.

Umm. Didn't the nexus have 9 command?

Dear God.

I'm a video game geek.

And even I look at this conversation as the geekiest thing I've ever seen.

Ironic, considering that the artificial supply limit annoyed me the most when playing as Zerg.

Geekiness is a phase I occasionally go through. It usually occurs in two situations:

1. There's an awesome new game in development.
2. I'm bored.

This was a combination of the two.
