I was just wondering how Neville got the sword to kill Nagini, I don't really feel like rereading it.

Way back in Book Two, Dumbledore said that any true Gryffindor could pull the Sword from the Sorting Hat in time of need.

There was a blink-and-you'll-miss-it paraphrase of that during the "Will" chapter.

So, that's how Neville got it.

I was especially glad for that scene because it showed that it didn't matter that the goblin is keeping the sword, it will be available when it is needed.
