So, I saw Hot Rod. It was exactly advertised...a dumb, low budget bit of silliness starring Andy Samberg.

I loved it. [Big Grin]

But...I need help. Anyone know the title of that 80s-tastic power ballad they play during the "morning of the big stunt" montage?

The one that starts out all bright and positive, then goes all weird and wrong? Yeah. That one. [Smile]

I have not seen the movie, but The Final Countdown by Europe would seem to be a good guess.

You know? I think I was doing a theater check of Hot Rod yesterday and I think I heard a cheesy ballad and I think I thought to myself, "That sounds like 'Cherokee'" by Europe.

Don't quote me on that, though. I didn't see the whole sequence.

(Also, I initially thought the song title was 'Trail of Tears' until I looked it up just now.)
