Last night I drove my mom to Chick-Fil-A (which I go somewhere between 8-12 times a week) to meet my aunt and uncle and my grandmother for a dinner (and then go to another restaraunt).
I went in and saw two of my friends and thought "Oh look- that's weird- that's a pretty fun coincidence" then I saw the chaperone from my Bahamas mission trip last summer, one of my favorite teachers and his wife, my old quizzing coach, my dad (who I thought was still out of town).
Apparently my friends threw me a surprise party before I moved off on Friday at my favorite restaraunt (or at least the one I go to waay more often than anywhere else).
Just wanted to share and- what else have people done for you or that you've done for others here recently? Or fond memories- I don't really care- I just want to read some happy stories!
*has really good friends*

that is so beautiful!
This is small, but today was my last day of work at the comic book store. One of my coworkers made a carrot cake, and one of my handsome customers kissed my hand. Hard to say which one was sweeter.

My laptop has recently decided to stop detecting its wireless card... scratch that, not recently, but about a month or so ago. Anyways, my mom has helped me deal with tech support when I get too frustrated with the entire situation and all the unexpected roadblocks it crops up. She's handled entire phone calls with the tech people, which i take as a great kindness. So thank you Mom, for fighting my computer when I'd given up.

One of my new fellow students called me this morning to alert me to a meeting that had just been scheduled. The heads-up was most appreciated.

I was talking to a guy I am ridiculously infatuated with tonite, and one of my best friends asked me about the particularly cool thing I am up to, in front of said guy. Way to spread around that street cred, best friend.
