...even though I really don't have time to. I just got done reading a book by Frank Peretti called Hangman's Curse and I LOVED that. Anyone have any suggestions that are kind of like that? I also love mysteries, those are good.

Or not. Is there anybody still here that was around when I actually used to post on here? Anyone? Anyone at all?

Try Three Bags Full. It's a mystery. With sheep. [Smile]

Frank Peretti's 'The Visitation' is very good. I'm assuming if you read 'Hangman's Curse' you won't mind reading other Christian works.

I thought 'The Oath' and 'The Visitation' (Aforementioned) were his best works. He's definently the best writer of his type (Down with Ted Dekkar!)

A sheep mystery? Sounds intriguing.

Of course I won't mind reading other Christian works; I am a Christian. I'll have to look those up though. My roommate LOVES Frank Peretti so she's been getting me to read his works. Thanks!

My (current) standard recommendation is The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. Beautiful writing, *real* characters, and an interesting plot. Plus it can be both a relatively quick read, or something you linger over to fully digest.

It is a great book. [Smile]

However, Ivygirl may find it a bit too explicit for her taste.

Which one? The Time Traveler's Wife? I might check it over a little bit first.

Yup.

I haven't even read Time Traveler's Wife yet because I've heard the stories of it leaving the reader in tears (I hate that).

I love that you quote TomD on your Facebook, btw. [Wink]
