I didn't know of this remake until this morning, but I must say it looks terrible. Then again, maybe it's just not my thing.

Well the trailer doesn't look so hot at all.
But the cast is cool, and I love Zooey Deschanel.

What a terrible trailer. Like...really bad.
At the same time, the little bit of research I've done on this mini-series makes it seem...not so hot. So maybe the trailer was just being honest!

The Wizard of Oz is "the greatest fantasy epic of all time?" So many things wrong with that statement.

I thought it looked like it could be all right so long as you pretend its not connected to Oz (or maybe just try to ignore some of the cheesier... re-imaginings like "The O.Z." and such).

I kept thinking Arrested Development, "Don't call it The O.C."

Hmmm...the cast looks really great.
But this plot (as related by the trailer) has been done to death. I'm kind of exhausted with it.
