Okay, what happened? I mean, I know what happened, but there are things I don't understand. Why did Patty try and have Ellen killed? What was the deal with Julia Hewes? Why does Patty hate Frobisher so much?
At first, I thought maybe Julia didn't really die, and that Ellen is Julia. Then I thought, maybe Patty had twins, and Ellen is the one who lived. Why else would Patty have been in hysterics after ordering Ellen's death?
I thought a second season would be impossible. Now I'm not so sure.

Patty tried to have Ellen killed because she said she regretted what they did. Patty was apparently afraid that Ellen's regret would turn to remorse, she would seek atonement through confession, etc. All of which could hurt Patty.
What exactly they did I'm not sure. I don't think it's been revealed yet.
Patty had hysterics because she sees Ellen as the daughter she lost. It cracked her Machiavellian facade.
I don't know what's up with Julia or why Patty hates Frobisher, beyond when she said she got into law because she hates bullies.

What they did was blackmail the opposing attorney.
Wow... you think Patty tried to kill her because she was afraid Ellen would confess to the blackmail and take Patty with her?
Is Frobisher dead? That wasn't necessarily a fatal wound.
