I know the signs of when I am getting pendantic, condescending, and overall insuffereably pissy. You deserved much better from a friend, which is what I consider you to be.

We probably still disagree on some points. We probably have some measure of agreement about my behavior. [Smile]

I think both the specific topic and the general area of unqualified statements are hot buttons for me -- not an excuse, but a reason. I'll watch myself better in the future.
