I'm constantly reapplying for Futureshop/BestBuy jobs for CSR and Computer Technitian, if I keep at it enough Ill catch them right as they have an opening.

That's not usually the way it works. Have you tried acquiring skills?

What happened with the computer store, did you apply and they never called back? I'm not sure if reapplying for jobs helps, but I know applying to many different places does. I know you've been looking for work for a while, instead of shooting hard for this one I'd say it'd be in your best interest to apply for a different job at least once a day - that is if you aren't doing such already.

Also, it'd help if you could spell 'Technician'.

Damn, you said it before I could.

You could try applying for whatever grunt-job is available at Best Buy and then building a reputation as a hard-worker so if a technician position opens at some point, they can hire from within.

Or just find any job to build your resume and references. You can still apply at a store you like while working at another job. I was working at a bank when I filled out my application for Barnes&Noble. They liked my cash-handling skills and took me on as a permanent employee even though at the time they were only hiring seasonal. A job, almost any job, will improve your chances of getting hired. Sometimes the universe doesn't want you waiting around for THE job.

Y'know, I didn't want to mention it. For a hard on computer dude, Blayne, your typing is kinda wonked, especially sprinkled with that occasional vocab word [Razz]

I think my hands have some kind of neuralogical disorder they don't seem to do what I want them to do, could be a lack of good motor control in general.

But anyways how it works is that they have this online interview application thingy and I constantly check it for openings, 3 weeks ago the job i just applied for wasnt open now it is. I'm going to call them tomorrow and ask if I can apply for CSR, customer service representative (which is grunt type job). As they had over 10 different positions open but after I applied for Computer Technician the ability to apply at the same store for a different position disappeared. So I'm going to call them about it, confirm they have openings and see if they can let me apply for multiple positions.

Really? It just seems like you're honestly misspelling junk, y'know, picking the 'tian' shin instead of the 'cian' shin (do tians shin?). Don't think I don't see, don't think that these eyes don't operate! Your hands don't have brains! I see things! Fsssss
(and it's "neuro" XD)

So what about the other places you've applied for?

Indeed... does the browser you use automatically spell check when you're typing? Because it should. That or you should be more vigilant.

Considering your recent experience with your rebooting computer, I'm not entirely surprised (and am relatively relieved) they won't hire you. Those entry-level computer support jobs are highly sought after, and usually go to people who have at least *some* experience, and often people who have taken a certification (A+ Or MCDST) get them first.

Maybe you should bake a cake and inscribe your resume on top.

Dude, we're talking about Best Buy. This couldn't be farther from the truth. Best Buy's tech goons are untrained imbeciles.
