This site probably won't last long...

So give it a peek now, if you can. Live action recreations of Garfield strips, complete with absurd musical codas.

They get funnier as they go on. [Smile]

The first one was pretty hilarious to me. It was just, weird. And a little creepy. Perfect ingredients for funny.

Edit: Okay, I know why the live action bits work for me. The laugh track. It feels both cruel and idiotic. Hooray.

If you venture outside of lasagna cat into the rest of fatalfarm.com, make sure you're not easily wierded out or horrified before you start watching the TV spots.

Why won't it last? Do you suspect Jim Davis will shut it down for copyright violation?

Paws Inc. has shut down other Garfield parody sites in the past.

I was only able to see Haunted Hamburger without downloading a plugin. That was weird. I guess it was funny. It's just not the sort of thing I'd want other people to know I found funny.

But then I made my husband watch Flight of the Conchords' Business Time this week, and he reacted much the same as he did to Napoleon Dynamite. He has yet to embrace his sexy geekdom.

Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness and methamphetamine addiction in a quiet American suburb.
Absolutely brilliant.

Wow, those are far funnier than the actual comic.

Edit:
And no conversation about Garfield would be truly complete without this link.
