Before the post count would always have your total count. Now, each post has it's own number. When did this happen?

I can't see where it's changed... all of my posts have the same counter.
Edit... I just checked and this one is the first one with a different number than the rest. My last posts were this morning, so I guess it's changed in the last 2-3 hours.

Ok, so the ones here are updating but the ones in the band question thread here have an older thread count. Before, I remembered all previous posts having the same number, no matter which thread you were in.

I believe that the way UBB works, each time a thread gets a new post, the post count for every post in that thread gets updated. So the last time anyone posted in that thread, your post count was what it now shows.
(Occasionally the forum is shut down for maintenance, which also updates those counts.)
