Mostly the human and dwarf cast members.

Sadly, Reepicheep is still being kept under wraps.

"Fans are most eager to check out Reepacheep, the warrior mouse who inspired Puss In Boots in the Shrek films"

Say what? And here I thought Puss In Boots was based on...Puss in Boots...

The Puss in Boots of the fairy tale is more a trickster than a swordsman. Though personally, I thought ShrekPuss was based more on Zorro.

I think it was kinda both. But I think it's a stretch to say that Puss was based on Reepacheep. Basically, the person who wrote the words for the captions did no research and printed something that is completely and utterly false. This happens *far* too often in modern journalism (Having it ever happen is too often...but it's become much more common since the news media has decided to try and compete with bloggers).
