The Razzies thread, with its digression about 'Freddy Got Fingered' got me thinking about my own personal definition of "So bad it's good!" entertainment.

Gross-out humor bores or annoys so, I rarely if ever enjoy films fixated on such elements.

On the other hand, I loved last summer's SkinWalkers with a frightening intensity. I could watch the Gun-Toting Werewolf Granny scene all day long.

A line from this review of Garzey's Wing, the ineptly dubbed mid-90s anime explains it better than I ever could:

it must be poorly made, it must be CRAZY, and above all, it must NOT be boring.

In fact, watch the clip provided later in the article of Garzey's Wing. The US dub transforms a merely confusing, non sequitur-laden fantasy tale into purest unintentional comedy gold. [Big Grin]
