I am letting you know this very, very far in advance because of course, my parents don't know enough about the Internet to find this post.

My father turns 70 this March. My boyfriend, my dog, and I are driving down to Tampa to surprise him the weekend after his birthday (that's when our spring breaks start - we'll be doing the driving March 14). Since my dad's birthday is only a few days before mine, I'll also be turning 23 during this time.

Anyone want to go to Disney or Busch Gardens or Islands of Adventure or just get together for dinner or something?

Any suggestions as to what to do for the surprise party are also welcome. My mom is handling a lot of the planning (including feeding my dad the line that I can't be there because I have to work), but I'd like to help out as much as I can from here.

We are always interested in a Disney day, but it would depend on when were would be available, of course.

Let us know closer to the dates and we will see. [Smile]

If it is possible we are in, though, particularly if we do Disney or IoA.

Oh this upsets me. I had sorta kinda made plans to be in Sarasota in March. Sadly those got thrown out the window. And now I think it's too late to remake them......
