Do you have what it takes to become The Guy?

If you don't, I don't blame you. Not sure I do. IWBTG is the hardest game ever in infinity, but free, and hilarious. As much as I can tell, it is very frustrating and very fun at the same time. If you're an old school gamer (like I guess I am..) you'll appreciate how it's just one big giant reference to many NES standards.

I'd have liked to try to start up some sort of race situation, but if it happened I probably shouldn't participate because while I haven't actually played it, I got (and are getting) big kicks from watching this one dude do it on YouTube. But I think I'll stop and save some surprises for myself, because I wanna be The Guy.

I've beaten it on medium. I'm working on a Hard run. I love that game.

Man, Mike Tyson REALLY doesn't want me to be The Guy. Break for today.

This is one TOUGH game. That's T.O.U.G.H.

Have you seen some of the walkthroughs on YouTube? I wonder if you can buy anger management gift certificates [Wink]

I beat Tyson a few weeks ago. He was rough as hell. Just when you think you got him, he gets you, in a big way.

Working on the grassy spike-jumping right now, and it is KILLING me.

I haven't played, but looking at the screenshots gave me an extreme bout of nostalgia for the original NES, and a little SNES by association.

You should play it on Medium (save points in every room) and give it a shot. If just looking at the screens gives you that tingle, you're in for a lot of fun surprises during gameplay - if you're a bad enough dude to get that far.

Oh I think I know which area you are talking about. The guys whose Yous I Tubed made a couple of videos just devoted to that place.

Is there anyway to skip a boss intro?

Not that I know of. It was really annoying me to have to see that green guy rise so slowly every time.
