Shannon Hale's latest fairy tale retelling had me in tears by the end.

And don't worry, they were the happy kind. [Wink]

Book of a Thousand Days takes an obscure Grimm fairy tale, gives it a new setting and new POV...and ends up being a book I had to read every spare minute I got today. And I didn't have much time to spare! [Big Grin]
