I have a quick question....my wife and I am filing jointly for the first time, and I want to e-file. I claim 0, and I think I am due a refund of over $1000, but I don't have access to my pin or my last years total taxes, as we didn't file jointly.

What are my options? Can I e-file, or do I have to send in a paper return and wait?

I thought if you don't have your PIN or your last year's return (for them to use to verify an electronic signature) -- you can e-file the return, but it will make you print out a signature page that you will have to send in (since you can't electronically "sign" with the above information)

I think I did that one year when I couldn't find my previous year's return

Do you know she has pictures she's not sharing? She finally sent them to me because I bug her so much.

Tell you what, next time I talk to her I'll ask if it's okay if I forward them to you.
