From one huge fan to another, does anybody out there have any kind of information on possible movies that will be made out of the Enders' Game series? I am totally dying to know!

There's supposed to be one of Ender's Game some time, but no one knows when or if or how. It's kind of been talked to death on this forum, I'm afraid, and everyone's a little tired of it.

I heard it was being turned into an anime show that was premiering next Fall on Cartoon Network.

Interestingly enough, imdb says that the Ender's Game movie will be released in 2008. However, I trust what OSC releases on this site more than I trust them, and since one of his articles during the writers strike complained about how he had a new idea for the movie, but couldn't shop it around because the strike was happening, I tend to think otherwise.

We aren't offended. As fans we're all eager for the Ender's Game movie and Ender's Game Game. It's frustrating that it's taking so many years to develop.

I am totally stoked for the movie if it happens, but I dont want to relive Eragon... That was horrible, if thats gonna happen I would rather it just stay a book...

I heard Jerry Bruckheimer was going to produce it, and rename it to Ender's Revenge. The whole book would be shortened to the first half of the movie(cutting out Val and Peter entirely) and the second half would be Ender exacting revenge on all those who created the monster he became. There would also be at least 228 explosions(non bugger related).
