Maui is first in U.S to see $4.00 per gallon gasoline.

This story talks about Hana, on the east side of Maui, which is very remote and always has much higher prices than the rest of the island. But this morning, the prices in Wailuku were $4.08 for the cheapest grade. [Cry]

The price of gas here is 2.70 TT$/liter or about 1.60 US$/gallon.

There are advantages to living in an OEP. Of course, that's about the only thing that is cheaper than the States.
