Scenes that weren't even in the trailer!!! Red Light!!!

As we were getting ready to watch Enchanted, my kids were actually talking about their favorite parts of the trailer. Would you believe my favorite part of the trailer wasn't even in the movie? When the bus driver calls Prince Edward a "tights wearing freak".

pooka,

I was just discussing this with a coworker and he pointed out that if this story had been about "Snakes on a Plane" it would have been true.

The thing I like about today's fast moving trailers is the sensation you get of being shot repeatedly by strings of glowing text that explain what's going on.

BANG!

"The trailer..."

BANG!

"That will change your mind"

BANG!

"About whether $9.75 is too much"

BANG!

"To pay for a movie"

This goes down as one of my favorite Onion pieces. And that's saying a lot.

I'm watching it again to get the text crawl. "Canadian dollar store crap now equal to American dollar store crap." Oh, wait, the next one was kind of disgusting. Cancel that.

And remember that by law every trailer with a voice-over narration is required by law to feature the word, "Now..."
