Of course, that was after the fuel tank and lines had to be replaced due to rust, exacerbated by the road salt & chemicals used here.

I saved most of it, paid tithing, and bought clothes with the rest.

Paid tuition. Well, it wasn't enough to pay for the whole semester, so it paid for part of my tuition and books.

Haven't used it yet, but it will go to my green card application.

Mine's going towards air fare and tickets to Walt Disney World. If there's any left over I might use it towards a PSP, though it'd be smarter to save it for Disney.

Now, Orincoro, you know how Papa feels about those threads.

Paid bills.

Haven't gotten it yet--but it will pay our mortgage for part of the time that I'm on maternity leave without pay, allowing us to keep the $$ we'd earmarked for that in savings.

I'm saving it for some future dates with a pretty lass.

I bought something frivolous made of red leather. Not yet sure what I'm going to do with the rest of it.

We're adding it to our "next car" fund. I figure we spent enough money moving that we've helped the economy already.

The IRS says they're paying in order of the last 2 digits of your SSN.
Mine are... 99
When I finally get mine, I'll be getting a new[used] car. (Hey, I've got 5 kids and a wife, I fully expect to get $2700 from this deal!)

Paid bills. I was a bad little consumer.

Anyone know how long it will take if you are being mailed a check as opposed to having it debited into a bank account?

Bought a plane ticket to Ireland!
Posted by Lyrhawn (Member # 7039) on :
Depends on your SSN Blackblade. Could be late in June, could be the end of this month.

Jeni! Way cool! Ireland . . . *sighs dreamily*
I paid a bill.

Mine is 89 Hopefully I will get it on Friday Then I can get my internet back on at home. I really would like to see Dir en grey many times, but instead I may have to pay bills and rent and maybe save part of it depending if it's the full amount.

I should get mine by the end of the week.
Most likely, I'll pay off my remaining credit card debt. Woohoo!
That leaves me with two cars and a house to pay off......

Jeni, where are you going in Ireland? I have suggestions if you want them.
I will put mine into the IBC stash. Which means I can use some other money to buy some new bookcases and a nightstand.

I figured it would just go to paying bills, but my husband used his to buy me a beautiful necklace for my b-day, anniversay, mother's day. It is a beautiful green garnet (I didn't know they had green garnets).

Ours is in the bank, in an interest-bearing but accessible account. If we get through losing my income this summer, moving expenses, and having to COBRA our health insurance for 3 months ($1322 a month!) without having to draw on it it will move to one of our investment accounts.
And we're trying to decide whether to tithe it to the regular church budget or a special project.

The franchise tax board came back to us with their hand out for yet more money so we used our rebate to pay more California tax.
