Is anyone watching Dogfights? It's a great show on the History Channel about famous dogfights in American aviation history.

The animation is superb. You can tell it is computer animation, but it doesn't look like a video game.

Whenever I'm in a hotel, I usually turn to the History Channel (I don't have cable at home), that is, ever since the Discovery Channel became dumb. Occasionally I come across this show, and I find it interesting. Not something I'd want to see regularly, but it's good for a now-and-then viewing.

I was afraid this was a Michael Vick thread.

I was hoping it wasn't, because I love this show. I have only seen 2-3 of them, but they were great.

There was a great episode about dogfights of the future. I believe that was the name of the episode, in fact. It featured scramjet powered missiles, and the climax was an orbital dogfight!

The best ones are about the original pilots in World War I. They worked on guts and instinct alone.
