Disney announces its own graphic novel line.

Eh, it's no secret that these days, the main reason Warner and Toy Biz keep DC and Marvel comics around is as as source of properties and pitches for movies, toys, games, etc.

It was only a matter of time before Disney realized they could do the same thing. I'm interested in seeing what new characters and stories they'll create. I also can't help but wonder what properties are being revived and who's the talent they've approached.

Hmmm.

"The Gnome Mobile Returns!"

Hasbro owns Marvel?

Thanks for catching that. I got confused, Hasbro is the company that took over the Marvel Comics toy lines after Toy Biz bought Marvel. [Smile]

Do they mean for these to sound like religiously themed comics?

"Kingdom" is only used in a religious sense these days?

I took it as a reference to Disney being the self-proclaimed "Magic Kingdom".

I'm sure seeing Mickey mouse ears (or whatever) on the logo will make it clear. [Smile]

Not "only" but often enough. I think you are right about the ears, though.
