She's funny, she's insightful, she's brief, and she's fantastic. As is proper, they gave her a standing ovation. I wanted to stand up and clap myself.

Oh yes, I heard it live. It was an excellent speech. Far far better than the droning platitudes you usually get from such a speech.

Well, worth a listen.

I enjoyed the irony of her saying that she didn't remember a word of the speech from her own commencement, and now everyone can watch her speech on YouTube.

I thought it was really profound what she said about failure, that if she hadn't failed so completely in the first place, she probably never would have written the books that made her famous.
