I have a take home midterm for Greek 101 I need to do this weekend. My professor couldn't get the copier working, so she e-mailed us all the file. However, I don't have the Greek font installed so it is all showing up in Roman letters, which means I can't do it.
I e-mailed her back to ask her to send me a PDF so I don't have to worry about the font, and she sent me the .doc file again. I shouldn't be surprised. Does anyone have Greek fonts and the ability to create a PDF that could turn this .doc file into a PDF file and send it back to me?
This laptop isn't mine and I don't have any of the program disks, or else I'd fiddle with it until it works.

Yes. You can e-mail it to me, and I'll e-mail it back. My address is in my profile.

Awesome. Thank you. I'm emailing it right now.

I sent you the PDF (with the font embedded) as well as the font file itself, in case you want to install it on your machine.

That wouldn't help without the font, though.

Awesome! Thank you, Lisa. I installed the font and it works perfectly. Much appreciated.
Lisa is correct - I have the ability to make PDFs just fine. The key part here was that I did not have the Greek font installed.
Thanks again.

I had totally read this as 'geek' font. =) So I started looking for some star trek fonts before I read the thread.

That's adorable. And would be disturbing if I didn't have a large selection of Harry Potter fonts at home.

I use Crillee all the time. It's the ST:NG font. I've been using it for years.

Hatrack is the coolest place on the internet. If you need something, chances are someone can help you. And will be willing to.
Awesome.

I'm glad it worked out, though, kat - if I'd seen it earlier, I'd totally have volunteered.
