Some time ago, you posted a suggestion for a substance that people could use if they were wanting to get an idea of what various spices tasted like (since just putting a leaf or seed or scrap of bark into your mouth doesn't accurately convey the flavor). I can't remember what your suggestion was, though. Do you have any idea? I think it was something that you just came up with off of the top of your head.

Nevermind. Cream cheese.

That's a really good idea. Do the herbs/spices need to be ground?

I believe he recommended grinding them and mixing them thoroughly with the cream cheese, EL.

Are you sure that was me? I remember the discussion, but I don't remember it being me. I don't want to take credit for someone else's idea.

I did a search and couldn't find it. Which doesn't mean much, of course.

It was me.

But I can't think of anyone I'd rather be confused for on a cooking topic.
