Kermit Love, that is.

My wife worked with him about 17 years ago on a touring production of "Feathertop" for a local repertory theater company that she produced. Really amazing guy.

One of the muppet sketches from the Ed Sullivan Show back in the '60s had Kermit being eaten by some monster or alien or somesuch. That was kinda unsettling.

Kermit (and Ernie) died when Jim Henson died, and they should never have been continued with those feeble attempts at imitating their voices.

Awww. [Frown]

I had no idea that Kermit was actually a real person.

Kermit the Frog was not named after Kermit Love. I guess it was just serendipity that Kermit Love also made puppets and costumes, and worked with Jim Henson on the original Sesame Street characters.
