Some posters may remember that a good friend of mine is a professional comic book writer/artist that I've promoted here before. He's finishing up his first independent work right now and has made it available as an updating 3 times a week webcomic. Here's the link, if people are interested.

While you're there, I'd recommend checking out the YouComic section too.

Looks like an interesting comic, Squick. I'll check it out further when I'm not at work.

[Edit--ick. I just got to the bit where the characters are playing a pen and paper RPG. Their session has a lot more in common with the stereotypical conception of what a session of D&D would be like than anything like any game I've ever been a part of.]

That wasn't one of my favorite parts either. Pete's actually an avid gamer and a pretty darn good DM. I'm pretty sure he was going to the contrast between the unreality of an immature RPG session and what Phoebe had to deal with and shooting for some cheap laughs. I don't think either worked that well.

I think it's 4 or 5 pages now from probably my favorite scene in the first book though.

Why do comic book people have such great abs? Not very realistic to me.

[Smile] I'm not a big comic book fan but that looked interesting. The artwork was really good.

The current page is my favorite one in the whole first book, although you have to read the page before it to really get it. (Language warning)
