I took work off a week early to have this family vacation, and now have a week to do pretty much nothing.

Looks like everyone is ok though, so thats good.

This is one of the truely beautiful places of the world. But, it is in the desert, and any time you have water in the desert, something is going to change, usually for the worst in the short run.

I didn't see that when I first started checking. But then again, I stopped looking at articles about it because it was frustrating me.

Wow, I guess I should be grateful I wasn't down there.

Those people may have left and just not checked in with family. That was at 7:30 this morning. They masy have been found by now,
