My Daily Half-Thought usually takes the form of a question but someimes it's just a random thought.
Today: Can wookies use their claws in battle? I seem to remember that wookies cannot use their claws in battle. This memory I think comes from KOTOR but I"m not sure. Any help?

I seem to remember that as well. I think it was disgraceful and a sign of being a savage, basically, so it was frowned upon.

Yes, in KOTOR, they referred to a wookie who attacked another wookie with his claws as a "madclaw".

Today: What if there is bactrial life on europa, they bring it back to study it, some of it escapes (the andromeda strain comes to mind) and it turns humans into ZOMBIES! Today during school I was scoping out all the safest places there, and on my slow journey home I made sure I could go in between cars on my bike to further confuse the zombies. I couldn't think about anything else. I was also sizing up who could escape the zombie onslaught and who would be consumed. AAAHAAHHHHHHHHHHHH ZOMBIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You do realize that the likelihood of a bacteria being able to infect humans if it has been growing for billions of years on europa is ever-so small. so many things are wrong with that... I sincerely hope you weren't serious

I'm sure we have super secret scientists cooking up some locally. I see it much more likely that an old Soviet era bio-weapon is discovered that can be transformed into the Zombie curse. Watch for it to appear in the Georgian conflict soon. As Stalin comes back from the dead to lead waves of undead warriors we'll have plenty of warning to sharpen our swords and rev up our chainsaws.

Yesterday: I hate being sick. Yesterday I was nearly comatose, with a throbbing headache and a sore throat that felt like someone had scraped a rusty spoon along it. I hate being sick.
