That's why I don't believe in relationships. Just one-night stands.

Posted by Strider (Member # 1807) on :

Isn't it uncomfortable standing up all night?

I'd say something amusing, but my wife would beat me if I did.

She might never read it, but she can sense it.

Nah, easier giving up all physique, and focussing on the mind. Body decays, but mind stays in the collective human repository of metaphysics.

Kant, not c***.

Too many sexy short girls in my school [Frown]

That seems like a logical judgement not an aesthetic. Apparently that's a problem. I used to be able to call stuff beautiful without getting migraines.

Forget logic and aesthetics, it's a Platonic judgement: matter only keeps you away from the virtue. Sex is a hinderance in the path to great thoughts.

According to a Terminator, girls are complicated.

And yet I'm managing to study Kant in a PhD program while nursing a baby. And most of the men in the philosophy seminar with me are married and have children as well. I leave it to the reader to determine what this says about the existence of our sex lives.

Watch out, that can just make it all the easier to fall into the "do you think she's prettier than me" trap. Used to happen with my (bisexual) ex girlfriend really often until I just sort of trained myself to ignore my surroundings.

I may not get the quote exactly right, because I don't have the book on hand, but in The Ancestor's Tale, in the chapter called the Rotifer's Tale, Richard Dawkins says something along the lines of, "The existence of the male sex is an evolutionary scandal."

Why do you think that girls are less than three?

Posted by Mike (Member # 55) on :

Because once they reach 3 they become young women. *nods sagely*

*sings*
Girl, you'll be a woman soon
*done singing for real this time*

Or alternatively, why are you mooning girls?

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Perhaps girls are less than the moon.

Or, to quote MY little girl, "You're not the boss of the moon!"

Posted by Tante Shvester (Member # 8202) on :

That's the one who likes the moon because it's close to us, right?

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Indeed.

No, he means this. Although I'm not sure why he likes night stands so much.

Girls really aren't that bad, once you get a little older. I do agree that if you're 25 or younger, girls are a real pain.

Wouldn't mooning girls look more like this: >3?

Girls are great! This is awesome!

Posted by Samprimary (Member # 8561) on :

I may actually be developing a crippling addiction to the subset of girls known as 'bisexuals' oh god
