Because there just haven't been enough animated films about artificial beings in a post-apocalyptic world.

That's quite a cast they've gathered together. Story looks a tad hackneyed, but maybe the trailer is misleading.

FYI: It's based on a short film for which Shane Acker was nominated for an Academy Award.

a) Nice visual style.

b) I wonder if someone's actually going to take a chance on making this PG-13 or higher?... Some of that looked pretty intense.

c) Twenty-to-one, there's a simultaneous release for the Playstation 3.
