I just wanted to thank everyone who helped me with financial aid questions, laptop questions, and other things getting ready for this!

I am very excited. [Big Grin]

Actually, an 8:00 class in nursing school was a bit of a luxury when I went. We'd have to show up to clinicals a half hour prior to the shift, so 6:30 AM. And some of those clinical sites were an hour or more from where I lived.

Now I work nights.

I admire the students at our college who commit to the nursing program and get accepted. It truly takes effort to pass and they don't take just anyone. Good luck! [Smile]

I was surfing in between classes, actually. [Big Grin] We get a 10 min break every hour or so, at least in theory.

Tante, it was the first day. Most days it will be a 8:30 start, but once clinicals start it could be almost anything. On days wehre we will be off site for meetings, seminars, and other assorted things we will be there for 6 am.
'

I moved recently, and am only about a mile from school, but I donlt know what I will be doing once clinicals roll around. We only ahve the one car now, wiht no possible way of buying another, and my wife needs teh car to get to work AFTER I go to school. She doesn't start until 11:30, but has to be there about 11, and I don't break for lunch until at least 12 every days.

She works RIGHT past the college but it's about 1.4 miles and clinical's start and end at weird times.

I am sure we will work it out, even if it means I have to buy a bike and bike to get the car with 65 lbs of books and laptops on my back. [Frown]

Is public transportation not an option?

Maybe you can carpool (or pay your way, if you can't do your share of the driving) with a classmate. I did that all through school.
