I'm getting stoked. There's Johnny Depp, of course, but Michael Sheen is going to be the Cheshire Cat. And everyone else...look at the cast!

I'm looking forward to it, though I wish they would stop acting like a "dark, twisted Alice" is somehow fresh and innovative. As with Oz, these days a Grim Wonderland seems to be the rule, not the exception.

Sounds fun.

The original Alice was a bit dark and twisty, so this just follows that. I hope it will be good. I have been vaguely unhappy with Burton and Depp since I saw Sweeney Todd. The colors and lighting weren't enough to compensate for destroying Sondheim's music.
But hope springs eternal, and I don't think anyone will be singing. So: yay!

He's definitely the guy to do it.

The Mock Turtle's song. I hope they keep it.

Mia Wasikowska really looks the part for Alice, doesn't she?
It does look promising!
