On The Other Wiki says they might make a spinoff based on the investigator guy introduced in season 5. to be inspired by The Rockford Files

That guy?
But he was so annoying.

I found he was awesome.

I liked him too. I was sorry he wasn't in more episodes.

He's the son of John Rubinstein, so he really can't help being annoying.

Yeah, didn't like the character though I like the actor, really didn't like the subplot's execution.

I could see that being a decent series, as long as I don't have to deal w/ him and House on the same show ever again. And if his character fleshes out so that he's more than just vindictive. I think he'd need some semblance of a) a sense of humor and b) compassion in order to carry a series. He and House together were just too much concentrated petty meanness to deal with at one time.

wait, we are talking about the private investigator hired by House to spy on his team right? I didn't see any meanness.

I can only dimly remember him.

That idea was raised, but it was dropped a couple of months ago.

They should do a spin off on Amber! She was such a cut throat bitch! I loved every second she was on the screen!
...
Oh wait...
Never mind...

didnt she have character development to not be so evil before they dropped a bridge on her?
